Is it just me, or are sportsmen, yes men, getting mardier ? We all know that footballers will get out a pair of crutches for a blister on their foot but now it seems to be getting worse.
First, that Scottish tennis player (who's name I can never remember) lost a match the other day and people were making excuses that it was because he didn't finish a game the night before until late and didn't get enough sleep, WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD !
Then one of the England cricketers said it was touch and go whether he played or not, because he had a sore throat. Suck on a lozenge you wuss !
What's wrong with these people ? I bet they could still manage sex !!

does make you think how these highly paid premadonas would have coped in the days of tommy smith bite your legs hunter & chopper harris thats when football was the working mans game & there was true passion todays game is not a patch on them days the players then used to turn up to the saturday games on the local bus & the fans could relate to them today they are all overpaid ballerinas who seem to practise the art of falling over more so than how to score goals (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The thing is the modern game is a lot, lot faster than the days of chopper harris etc and the players are more highly strung atheletes than they were years ago and with being more highly strung they are built for speed and agility not brute strength like they are in yesteryear although that being said they are a lot more prone to injuries and muscle/ligament problems due to the way they train as when you have speed and agility you lose strength and durability. Having said that this kind of thing is beginning to happen to rugby now take Johnny Wilkinson he is like a tampon 1 week in 3 weeks out for most of the season.
